Prestigious and exclusive, The Westminster Schools are an unparalleled place to attend. Located at 1424 W Paces Ferry Rd NW, Westminster is an independent Christian day school. Focused on fostering and building leadership skills, this school is known for its exceptionally high standards.

Grade levels taught at this school include pre-first through 12th. Schools are divided into three sections: Lower School, Middle School, and Upper School. The Lovett School

Acclaimed for its “whole-child approach to learning,” The Lovett School is an outstanding educational institution in Buckhead. Open to students from kindergarten through 12th grade, the school is independent and co-educational. Its sprawling campus provides ample space for kids and teens to learn and grow and for all educational and extracurricular activities. On top of its superior academics, Lovett has robust fine arts and athletics programs. Currently, the school has 90 percent participation in its fine arts program and 81 percent participation in athletics. Additionally, Lovett offers 21 AP and post-AP courses to Upper School students.

Pace Academy

Centering its mission and values around courage, academic excellence, inclusivity, and respect for others, Pace Academy is another marvelous school in Buckhead. Offering a student-to-teacher ratio of 9:1, children and teens receive the support that they need at all times. The school enrolls students in pre-first through 12th grade. Judeo-Christian values are emphasized after having been founded by an interfaith group of leaders in 1958. Pace is located at 966 W Paces Ferry Rd NW.

Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School

Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School is a private school located at 805 Mount Vernon Hwy NW. Featuring Lower through Upper Schools, a state-of-the-art STEM building, a Fine Arts Building, four athletic fields, and a myriad of other top-tier amenities, this is an outstanding place to send your children and teens. Academic programs are held to the highest standards at every grade level, thanks to the school’s commitment to excellence and achievement. Holy Innocents’ also offers extracurriculars in theater, music, visual arts, and various sports teams.

Lauded for its global approach to education, Atlanta International School has earned a positive reputation worldwide. Students in 3K preschool through 12th grade are welcome at this institution. Devoted to building leaders who will shape the future, this school attracts some of the brightest minds — locally, nationally, and internationally. 90 different nationalities are represented in the student body, with graduates from all continents. 65 languages are spoken within the student community, and four language immersion programs are offered.

Atlanta Classical Academy

Recognized as one of the best public schools in the city, Atlanta Classical Academy is an outstanding K-12 charter school. Founded in 2014, faculty and staff welcome an average of 54 students per grade level each year. Because of its commitment to providing a quality educational experience, there is often a waitlist to be accepted into the school.

The Galloway School

Situated on the same property as Chastain Memorial Park and North Fulton Golf Course, The Galloway School delivers an exceptional educational experience in a prime location. This private institution is home to a Lower, Middle, and Upper School and begins with grade K3. Exuding upscale and historic appeal, the sprawling campus is nothing shy of impressive. 108 faculty members instruct 750 students annually. The curriculum is project-based at every level and features 16 AP courses for Upper School students.

Holy Spirit Preparatory School

Holy Spirit Preparatory School is a private Catholic school for students from preschool to 12th grade. Founded in 1996, the school is heavily focused on its Catholic values. Nine masses are offered weekly, with confession offered daily. Students across grade levels perform 5,000 service hours per year and have a 100% college acceptance rate. Additionally, 75 percent of students receive a score of three (or higher) on their AP exams, which often qualifies them for college credits.

Atlanta Girls’ School

Parents who are seeking an all-girls school for their child should definitely explore the programs offered at Atlanta Girls’ School.
